Trying to find out a way to backup my data online. Lots of options.
Most of the "unlimited" backup plans have a caveat:
Mozy -- Free account of 2 GB. Deletes permanently deleted files after 30 days.
Carbonite -- Deletes permanently deleted files after 30 days.
Backblaze -- Deletes permanently deleted files after 4 weeks.
CrashPlan --No limitations as above, [...]
Ever wanted to sync two computers? Or just backup stuff? Or have a few older versions available of some documents your collaborating with your friends?
Dropbox seems to be a quite a service. All the sites I've visited praise it. Well, I don't see why not. Their demo video is pretty convincing.

A few months back I posted a shell script for backing up your cPanel account automatically using cron and curl. I updated the file a bit, and now it creates files with monthly names (for me, at least).

Justin Cook wrote an article how to backup your cPanel stuff with PHP&Cron. Well, the PHP part didn't really work for me, so I had to create an alternative approach.

I too got the (now notorious) "Time Machine Error - Unable to complete backup" error message. But happily, I got it fixed. I don't know which of the following steps did the trick, but so far the Time Machine (TM) seems to working. (NB. I haven't tried restoring the backup.)
