Got Dropbox. It's great!

However, I'd like to be able to:

Create a link to Dropbox folder in my file system. At the moment creating a link in Dropbox folder will result in syncing the link, not the folder

Hide the icon from menu bar

Rename Photos folder (say, to have it under a different name in finder side bar). Renaming the folder will make it a non-photo folder.

Change location for shared folders (e.g. John has is under folder foo, while after sharing it, Mary would like to have it under folder bar because she has different naming conventions)

Share photo folders while browsing them in Photos section of the web interface. Say, putting the little gray triangle next to the name that would show a contextual menu. This would be consistent with the file browser which imitates right-clicking with this arrow - I'd say this "right-clicking" should be possible everywhere.

Have shorter photo gallery names when shared on web. Something like getdropbox.com/876bb85j.

Dropbox seems to be a quite a service. All the sites I've visited praise it. Well, I don't see why not. Their demo video is pretty convincing.

At the moment Dropbox is invitation only. I'm trying to get an invitation -- and you might want to try too, say, from TechnoSpot, MacRumors or MacThemes.

A pastor of our international church in Espoo said that SquirrelMail wasn't working anymore. The frame where the folders used to be, now said

ERROR:
ERROR: Could not complete request.
Query: CREATE "Sent Messages"
Reason Given: Invalid mailbox name.

The fix involves two easy steps, the latter being voluntary.

Rename .sqmaildata folder (in your file system root) to something else, say, .sqlmaildata.old. A brand new folder with the original name will be automagically created as a user logs in.

If you wish to restore SquirrelMail preferences (.pref files), address books (.abook) and signatures (.sig), just copy the respective files from .sqlmaildata.old to the newly created .sqlmaildata.
